Commercial

BCTCB Commercial for the History & Heritage Group

The Butler County Tourism & Convention Bureau (BCTCB) History & Heritage Group has previously voted to spend this years allocation on a series of TV commercials to showcase the members of this particular BCTCB segment and what each has to offer. The BCTCB H&H group includes: Cranberry Township Historical Society, Butler County Historical Society, Evans City Area Historical Society, Historic Harmony Inc., Maridon Museum, Muddy Creek Oil Field, Old Economy Village (of Beaver County), Old Stone House, Providence Plantation, Saxonburg Historical & Restoration Commission and Zelienople Historical Society.

Funds to produce and air the commercials were derived from the Hotel Bed Tax. The H&H members will appear in a commercial containing three members at a time in each 30 second spot. The commercials will air between 6:00 am and midnight, 7 days a week beginning on May 1, 2007.

The commercials will be carried by A&E, FAM, HIS, TVL and TWC for 9 weeks and on PCNC for 6 weeks. For the most part, they will air 20 times per week on each channel. While we have not yet had an opportunity to preview the commercials ourselves, those that have, have indicated that they turned out extremely well. To visit the BCTCB website, follow the link at the bottom of this page.
