On April 5, 1947, Earl H. Shouse and Vera Mae Liebau were married at Dutilh Church. This was the frame building that burned in 1986. This article appeared in the May 5, 1947 Pittsburgh Post Gazette. Current/former residents of Cranberry recalled taking lessons from Vera Shouse.
